• Alexis Rhodes (Australia) is racing for bronze tonight in the 3 km individual persuit
• Sarah Ulmer (New Zealand) was flying today and is the favourite for gold
• Yvonne Hijgenaar (Netherlands) won the 500m time trial
• Tanya Lindenmuth (USA) couldn't repeat yesterday's silver and came in fifth
• World champ Franz Stocher(Austria) battles it out with Sven Teutenberg(GER) in the first heat of the points race

• Barry Ford (Barbados) picked up some nasty scrapes in qualifying
• Jobie Dajka (Australia) came from mid-field to take a dominating win in the keirin
• The keiren final was a tightly fought contest but Dajka came out on top
• Paul Manning (Great Britain) won gold in the ITT
• Chris Hoy (Great Britain) was way too good and powered to an easy win in the 1 km time trial
• The field start to spread out as the attacks start
• Miles Olman (Australia) put in a valiant effort but couldn't quite stay away in the men's scratch race
