Depending on exactly how one counts the figures your deam team ride is a carbon
fiber Trek, as ridden by US Postal Service, or a Colnago. The US Postal Service's
bikes swept the poll with a healthy lead over Telekom's Pinarellos in second,
but Colnago's bikes were mentioned as equipment for three teams, and were the
only bikes to recieve a significant number of votes in their own right, rather
than in association with a team.
Similarly, Pinarello's multiple-sponsorship policy would have put the other
big Italian bike builder much closer to Trek if we'd aggregated the votes by
manufacturer - but we asked or your favourite team bike, so we decided the fair
ranking was by team. If you disagree, the numbers are there for you to do your
own sums!
