The most consistent US cyclocross racer of the season, Ann
Knapp topped the poll ahead of compatriot and notorious 'cross addict Gina
Hall. Third place was Netherlands 'cross racer Daphny van den Brand. That
most of the top ten riders in this section were from the US is an indication
of the growth and visibility of women's cyclocross in the US in the last couple
of years.
