The lap scorers at the Launceston Silverdome use a time-honoured method of keeping track of the racing, helped by a elevator platform to get them to all parts of the board.

The field scatters across the track as the camera - set to a slow shutter speed - puts each rider into a different dimension.
The pair of Sean Finning and Brad Norton kept an eye on all dangerous teams as they protected their early lead in the Madison. Here, they have just chased down Tasmania's Matt Goss.
Bernie Sulzberger (C, #6) is sandwiched in the field.
I prefer beer - you get the vodka coolers. Third place-getters in the Madison, Christian Lademann (Germany) and Nathan Clarke (Tasmania) share the liquid spoils of their success on the night.
