Taberley and Jamieson work together to win

After 85km around the glorious southern coast of Tasmania, Sid Taberlay - Australian Mountain Bike Champion and Mark Jamieson - World Junior Track Pursuit Champion showed they could win on the road too. The pair blitzed the field by 6 minutes after going away early on one of the many climbs and after sharing the workload linked arms for a dead heat finish. Sid now joins the Italian Mapei team and Mark the National squad to train for World Cup races.
