Cyclingnews 2008 Reader Poll Results

And the winners are...

Our beloved sport of cycling had its fair share of ups and downs this year, but if our poll numbers are an indication not even doping scandals, hard economic times and political shenanigans can dampened the enthusiasm of our readers! Over 13,000 of you took the time to voice your opinions about the best riders in all our categories - cyclo-cross, mountain bike, track, road and tech. That's an increase of 18% over the 2007 entries!

Over the coming week we will be releasing the results from this year's poll, and as usual we'll kick things off with best Male and Female Cyclo-cross racers. On January 5th, we will announce our Rider of the Year and our winner of the Grand Prize, that super sweet set of 2009 Zipp 808 wheels with the smooth rolling 88/188 hubs.
