Cyclingnews 2006 Reader Poll ResultsBiggest poll ever…again.By Greg "data cruncher" Johnson This time last year as Cyclingnews released its reader poll results, the team proudly revealed it had received the largest quantity of entries in the poll's history - nudging in at just over 7500. Just 12-months on, and such is the growth of Cyclingnews that the entries have cruised well beyond 10,000 for this year's poll. That's right, some 11,532 of you took the time to tell us what you think of season 2006. Over the coming days we will be releasing the results from this year's poll, starting with the Male and Female Cyclo-crosser categories and counting down to the big ones - Legend of Cycling and Rider of the Year. We'd like to thank all of you, the readers, for taking the time to have your say in the 2006 poll. Of course, a huge thank you must also go out to wheel manufacturer HED, who have generously continued to provide Cyclingnews with a set of wheels for one lucky poll entrant. The winner of the HED Kermesse road wheels will be announced later in the week. For now, it's back to the number crunching! Male Cyclo-crosser |
