Day 2 - March 5

At the end of the secon day of competition, Russian/South African duo of Andrei Minashkin and Jean-Pierre Van Zyl has taken the lead. As the first team to pass the 100 point mark, Minashkin and Van Zyl were given the first (and until now only) bonus lap. This bonus took them to the top of the standings after the final chase of 40 minutes, which this evening was relatively quiet. The chase was won by Villa/Chmidt, an Italian/Russian combo, but it didn't change the leading position. The first chase, 20 minutes, was won by Denmark's Hansen/Christiansen.
