Jeff LaBauve (Frisco, Texas - Focus 2004) won gold in the men's sprint, edging out Focus 2004 teammate Giddeon Massie (Quakertown, Pa.) who took the silver. Garth Blackburn (Houston, Texas), another member of Team Focus 2004, won bronze. And in men's Paralympic competition, Ronne Irvine (Herndon, Va.) was the sole Paralympic rider competing in the LC1 (below the knee amputee) division in the 200 meter time trial, winning his third national title.

• Jeff Labauve pulls up in a track stand after completing his obligatonn to lead in the second ride of the Match Sprint Final for Gold against teammate Giddeon Massie.
• Labauve holds position and forces Massie by.
• Giddeon Massie leads out Jeff Labauve in the Men's Match Sprint Final for the Gold Medal.
