Results and Reports from AustraliaPromoters wishing to submit results should send them to Cyclingnews Norwood CCNovember 1, 2003Lots of breakaways, but sprints decideNumbers were low today due to the fact it was apparently raining in the North and South, but it wasn’t at Regency Park. The weather there was good and a little bit of wind made the day just right for the strong riders coming out of the road season. The five placegetters in A grade made the most of the conditions and put up a good breakaway attempt not far into the race and that’s where they stayed, out in front. Good to see a couple of old fellas still able to mix it with the young ones. All other bunches had various attempts to break their fields up but they all ended in short but strong sprints to the line. A lot of interest this week came from juniors who wanted to race today but unfortunately only two turned up, well done Tiffany and new rider Lyndsay for making the effort.
