Master of ceremonies tonight
is former multiple World Pursuit Champion, Hugh Porter
-
Shh...Brad McGee's
pursuit bike is sleeping...
-
One of the nicest,
yet scariest riders on the track - Arnaud Tournant gets his bike ready
-
C'est tres jolie, non?
Tournant's new Look 496
-
Brad Wiggins' pursuit bike
comes out - leaving the tyre warmers on until the last minute?
-
Advice from the master,
Brad Wiggins gets some pursuiting advice from Hugh Porter
-
It's awake.
Brad McGee's bike is ready to roll (yes, that is skateboard grip tape on the outer bars!)
-
McGee is here,
looking lean and mean and ready to take on Wiggins in the Battle of the Brads.
-
...okay, not so mean,
but certainly lean and ready!
-
Despite the 'Grudge Match'
billing, these guys are really a couple of mates
-
Dean Downing's
light and fast looking Litespeed
-
Unfortunately DFL/cyclingnews.com's
new signing Dean Downing's new uniform has not yet arrived - still, his shoe sponsor must be pleased!
-
Did you win something then, Rob?
Double World Champion Hayles' understated Dolan track machine.
-
A very sexy looking
silver carbon Dolan, built especially for Bradley Wiggins to ride at the Revolutions
-
Fashionably late tonight.
Expectant father and birthday boy, Rob Hayles is numbered up in a hurry!
-
The slight figure of Craig MacLean
is ready for tonight's action
-
Getting focused,
Brad McGee warms up.
-
Former co-equipeurs.
Tournant and Hayles relive a few old Cofidis memories.
-
Getting warm now:
Brad McGee winds up his legs as young fans look on.
-
Craig MacLean
seems to enjoy getting his number attached, can't think why.
-
The sizeable crowd
respectfully observes a minute's silence to honour the five cyclists killed on Britain's roads in the past month
-
Ready to go,
the confusingly entitled 'Devil/Scratch Race' is about to begin
-
Not tempted
to take on (and probably beat!) the men, World Sprint Champion Victoria Pendleton pops in to say hello
-
'What are your legs?'
'Steel springs', Brad McGee has a Gallipoli moment.
-
'What are they going to do?',
'Propel me down the track', he's off!
-
'Congratulations mate!'
Rob Hayles congratulates the winner of the battle of the Brads
-
The extraordinary legs
of Arnaud Tournant get warmed up (he can crack coconuts between those thighs - allegedly)
-
Brad's BT bike
gets converted to points race mode: 'I think I'll use the larger of my hammers for this job.'
-
The business end of
Tournant's Look 496 - more of a hinge than a headset (note. Lack of bar tape but with plugs to prevent those nasty 'apple-corer' injuries)
-
Tournant and McGee
share a mid session joke.
-
Serious business:
Craig MacLean's 'British Cycling' bike is prepared for the madison kilo - bar tape on the tops? On a sprinter's bike?
-
'So how does this handsling
thing work again?'
-
Dean Downing
looks a bit pooped after doing his bit in the madison kilo with World Madison Champion Rob Hayles
-
It's been a long night.
Brad McGee gets ready for yet another race.
-
Matthieu Mandard.
Winner of tonight's Keiren title, looks a bit tired.
-
The late British track legend
Reg Harris watches over proceedings
-
It's all over:
Someone tell them that we don't swap shirts at the end of the game in this sport!
