New record and problems for Lithuanian pursuiters
In the second day of competition at Cali, USA rider Tammy Thomas set a new
Cali velodrome record in the women's 500m time trial of 34.800 and the 4000m
men's pursuit was awarded to Italy after the Lithuanian team finished three
seconds faster but with just two riders.
