Eurobike showGermany, August 30-September 2, 2007
Exhibitor Record and Demo Days for Eurobike 2007By Tim Maloney Situated in Friedrichshafen along Lake Constance in southern Germany, the Eurobike bicycle trade is now in its 16th year of existence and has matured into what many consider to be the most important and influential trade show in the industry. Eurobike creator Ralf Mohne has passed the baton to new general manager Klaus Wellman, but Eurobike has once again posted record numbers with over 860 exhibitors from 36 nations in attendance for its three trade-only days on August 30-September 1 and one public day September2 . One reason for the success of Eurobike is Friedrichshafen's spacious new Messe fairgrounds, one of the most modern in Europe with over 76,000 square meters of exhibition space. For 2007, Eurobike has taken a page from rival Interbike's playbook by adding its own Demo Day on Wednesday, August 29th, one day before the show with over 70 companies on hand offering road, mountain, and alternative bikes for testing.
