Getting 'cross in Vegas

The mini-boom in cyclocross shows no sign of abating and while zooming round in the winter mud is never going to be a mass activity, it has a solid secure niche in the cycling universe, even beyond its traditional European stronghold. Cyclingnews photographer Rob Karman dabbles quite successfully in 'cross and casts an expert eye on the new offerings at Interbike.
