Results and Reports from AustraliaPromoters wishing to submit results should send them to Cyclingnews CATS CCBurleigh, March 23, 2003A Grade submitted to the overwhelming power of Jim Burke. The Lite Bar boys kept the pace up high throughout the hour and supported Burke when he got away with Craig Reston. When Stewart Monk broke out of the bunch, Burke and Reston waited for him to join them. With protection from supporters in the bunch, the trio was able to work together to consolidate their break. At 500 metres to go and with the bunch closing rapidly on the break, Burke powered to the finish leaving a fading Monk and Reston to be engulfed by the bunch. Average speed was 43.1 km/h. D Grade saw the return of Freddie Mason who crashed and was injured several weeks ago. Dark horses, Brian Meade and Steve Drew made a winning charge in C Grade and evergreen Werner Rogosenski was just out of the places in B Grade.
