Close finishes in all grades was the feature of criterium racing at Heffron Park on Saturday 8 November 2003. Luis Trueba (Auburn Lidcombe) won the 36km A-Grade event followed closely by Matthew Lucas (Randwick Botany).

Andy Matthews (Randwick Botany) continues his progress in the sport with a second place in B-Grade, thanks to a Cyclefit from Steve Hogg at Pedal Pushers!

Alan Cohen (Randwick Botany) stole the show in C-Grade, after hiding at the back of the bunch for most of the race. David South (Waratah Veterans) was second and Neil Richards (Randwick Botany) third.

The Randwick Botany Centenary Race Day and Gala Celebration Dinner is shaping up to be a truly great event. To be staged at Heffron Park next Saturday 15 November, the seven-event program has attracted over 200 junior and senior riders competing for over $5,000 in prizemoney.
