Inspired by Lance Armstrong's fifth successive Tour de France victory, it seems the bike you unequivocally wanted Santa to bring this year was one of US Postal's Trek team bikes. Trek's bike even out-stripped the totals of Pinarellos and Colnagos, bikes whose presence in this poll is diluted by their use by multiple teams. That said, with a total of 180 votes and lots of readers citing the Dogma as their dream bike, Pinarello gave Trek a close run.

Runner-up in the one-team/one bike brand contest was CSC's Cervelo's. We hope Tyler Hamilton was on a bonus from Cervelo as well as CSC because his exploits in Liège and the Tour this year helped shoot this previously small brand to high prominance. Third was the bike of the world's number one team, the Pinarello ridden by Fassa Bortolo.
