Locals warm up for Marykana

Local riders are preparing for the Marykana Track Carnival to be held in two week's time. This event attracts some world class riders and this year promises to be even better than last year. Friday night's racing proved to be a good hit out for the younger riders. They produced some very close and exciting racing. Tim Wiseman from Bundaberg rode strongly once again and will be hard to beat in his division come carnival time. David Keevers and Fabian Spice also rode well finishing strongly in their events. Vets racing saw the return of Paul Wroe with his new bike built at his engineering shop. Track racing is Paul's favourite discipline and he will be looking for a good result at the Marykana.
