McCauley and a small Schroeder Iron contingent rode an attacking race, never giving the strong Southern California field a rest. "We are pleased to have Gordon on board for the remainder of this season," says Frank Schroeder, "and we look forward to tapping into his talents for late season success. He's an extremely aggressive rider and brings some horsepower to the team that we need. Coupled with Miguel Meza's sprinting prowess, we plan on seeing a fair amount of success for the balance of the season". Miguel Meza's blistering speed in the finish and McCauley's aggressive, "take no prisoners" style, combined with the solid strength and proven consistency of the entire Schroeder Iron squad should point the way to a stellar balance of the year.
