- Bodies tumble
in the closing moments of the Women's 10km Scratch Race.
- Belinda Goss (Aus)
is well out of the way after the crash, which thankfully affected only two
riders.
- Sarah
Ulmer (NZl) almost stole the show, but Victoria Pendleton (GBr) went into
overdrive in the last 50 metres to take victory in a photo finish.
- Youngest
to eldest - Mark French (Aus) leads teammates Ryan Bayley and Kilo legend
Shane Kelly in the Men's Team Sprint final; the Australians were beaten by
Japan by just 17/100ths of a second.
- Darren
Young (closest) gives it his all in the Men's Madison Final.
- The
Dutch duo of Gideon De Jong and Geert Jan Jonkman were one of three teams
that managed to lap the field halfway through the Madison, which enabled them
to secure their bronze medal position.

once again, this time outsprinting Rochelle Gilmore (Aus) and Sarah Ulmer
(NZl) to take the gold.

Race, as she had to lead out the Australian sprint team in the next event.

trio of Tamilla Abassova, Yulia Arustamova and Oxana Grishina rode a fantastic
Team Sprint final, but it wasn't quite enough to dislodge the unbeatable Aussie
combo of Rochelle Gilmore, Rosealee Hubbard and Kerrie Meares.
