Day 3 - October 18:

Marvulli breaks track record on the way to lead

The Swiss favourites Risi and Marvulli are leading the Amsterdam 6-day event after three days. The Suisse couple took over the lead during the night from the Dutch team Stam and Schep. Stam and Schep had taken the lead from Keisse and Villa early in the evening after a strong performance in the Madison, but Marvulli took bonus seconds by breaking the track record. He needed only 32.998 seconds for the 400 metres in "het Velodrome". Afterwards the Suisse combination gathered extra points in the scratch event.
