Risi and Betschart with final honours

Despite starting the final night in fifth place, Swiss duo Bruno Risi/Kurt Betschart managed to grab an extra lap over the rest of the field to win the 40th Six Days of Munich. It marked the pair's 33rd victory in a Six Day race, and they continue to build on their all time record. In second place, amassing the most points of any team but finishing a lap behind Risi/Betschart were Scott McGrory/Matt Gilmore, who led Andreas Kappes/Andreas Beikirch in third place by 31 points.

In the U23 Franziskaner Rad-Open, Belgian pair Iljo Keisse/Dimitri De Fauw sealed their victory on the final night with 112 points compared with Florian Piper/Andreas Welsch's 92 points and Leif Lampater/Sven Kraus's 84 points.
