Day 5 - November 10

A coup for Wiggins and Sassone

Night 5 of the Munich Six saw a big change in the lead as Brad Wiggins and Robert Sassone turned a 1 lap deficit into a 1 lap lead with some aggressive riding in the madisons. The pair ended the night on 216 points, 1 lap clear of four teams who will likely fight it out for the overall honours tomorrow. Germans Andreas Kappes/Andreas Beikirch are the best placed on 294 points, followed by Robert Slippens/Danny Stam on 277, Scott McGrory/Matt Gilmore on 271 and night 4 leaders Bruno Risi/Kurt Betschart on 269 points.

In the U23 Franziskaner Rad-Open, Belgians Iljo Keisse/Dimitri De Fauw are still well clear of the rest of the field on 92 points, with Germans Florian Piper/Andreas Welsch in second on 74 points and Leif Lampater/Sven Kraus third on 70 points.
