Slippens & Stam regain advantage

At the halfway mark of the 2004 Munich Six, Robert Slippens and Danny Stam have regained their first-night lead by grabbing an extra lap in a hard-fought evening's racing. The other favourites were unable to find an answer to a ferocious attack by Slippens and Stam that saw them move into the lead. Nevertheless, the Dutchmen will have their work cut out to defend over the next three nights; Kappes and Beikirch are ahead on points, while McGrory and Gilmore are just a few behind.
