McGrory & Gilmore edge ahead

After two days of racing at the Munich Six, the Australian/Belgian pairing of Scott McGrory and Matthew Gilmore has built up a narrow lead on points, ahead of Germany's two Andreases, Kappes and Beikirch, and the Dutch duo of Robert Slippens and Danny Stam. Both of the latter pairs have 80 points and are on the same lap as McGrory and Gilmore.

Slippens and Stam were aggressive in early racing, attempting to defend their lead from the previous night, but McGrory and Gilmore racked up the points and with Beikirch finishing ahead in the final sprint the Dutchmen found themselves pushed into third place.
