Winners in the night's events included Jame Carney (Northwestern Mortgage) and Becky Conzelman (Frisco Cycling Club). The Mid-Atlantic Sprint Championship for Women went through qualifying and rounds only to place qualifiers one (Sarah Uhl) and two (Conzelman) against each other in the final. To determine start position Conzelman won a surprise arm wrestling match against Uhl (Quark). Taking momentum from the arm wrestling match Conzelman easily came around Uhl to take the win and honors. The women's 3-mile final became Rosy McCall's preme race after she took nearly every cash offering, however Becky Conzelman (Frisco Cycling Club) took the win. Second place was a tough fight between Ashley Kimmet (Colavita Bolla) and Sarah Uhl (Quark). Kimmet placed second, with Uhl following in third. In the women's unknown distance, Sarah Uhl (Quark) dominated the field throughout the race. Chasing Uhl was Becky Conzelman (Frisco Cycling Club), who took a second place finish in the race. Graciela Martinez (Coach Argentina) finished strong just behind Conzelman in third place. Making his return to the Velodrome after a long break, Timmy Reinhart (Endeavor Cycling) rode in the men's miss-and-out. Reinhart rode strong, but unfortunately did not make it to the final three. Jame Carney (Northwestern Mortgage) was victorious in the miss-and-out, and last week's record breaker Bobby Lea (T.E.A.M Fuji) captured second place. Gil Hatton (Gotham Cyclists) finished third. The men's 60-lap points race was seemingly endless for the riders who competed in it. Jame Carney (Northwestern Mortgage) rode hard though the race, claiming 20 points for lapping the field. Carney finished first, with Mike Pudlinski (T.E.A.M Fuji) in second, and Bobby Lea (T.E.A.M.) in third.
