The Valley Preferred Enduro Series and the Finish Line Running Store Sprint Series combine to determine the Morning Call Rider of the Year. This is the first year for the specific enduro and sprint series, which give an opportunity for more specialized riders to showcase their talents. "Going into the final two weeks of our season the women's point series are very competitive while Jame Carney has dominated the men's series," said Pat McDonough, Director of the Lehigh Valley Velodrome. A total purse of $6,000 awaits the winners of the Velodrome series. Jame Carney has an insurmountable lead in all but the Finish Line Running Store Sprint Series while on the women's side Becky Conzelman leads both the Morning Call Rider of the Year and the Finish Line Running Store Sprint Series while being tied for the lead in the Valley Preferred Enduro Series with former Junior World Medallist Ashley Kimmet.
