Season kicks off with successful beginners' clinic

The Colorado Velodrome Association kicked off their 2003 Pre Season with a beginners track racing clinic. In the past, if 25 riders attended, we considered the clinic to be a huge success. Thirty five would be un-heard of. Seventy four riders participated in the beginner's clinic! It was remarkable! The amazing thing was everybody stayed upright and had a great time. Many of the clinic riders stayed around to race later in the day!

Carl "The Weasel" Boucher found the leadout of a lifetime from his friend and teammate, Rocco Mazzie. After a few years of paying attention, Carl knew exactly what to do and came up with the first win of the 2003 racing season! An impressive ride for a Junior who has been going to school full time.
