Bundaberg CC

Maryborough, May 18, 2002

Bundaberg club members traveled to Maryborough last Saturday to compete in an inter-club challenge. The Bundy club was well represented in all four races, and although they weren't all winners, it was unanimously agreed that it was a top day

The combined A & B grade event was won by Hayden Josefski, the limit rider from Maryborough who led all the way for a good win. Hayden was followed home by his club mates Steve Creed-Jacobs in second place and Mark Fielding was third. Bundaberg was strongly represented in this event by Arthur Puie Phil Dunn and Ashley Mallett.

In the combined C & D grade event, Cassie Persival from Maryborough had a good win in this event to out pace Peter Klein and Ron Kramer from Bundaberg; other Bundaberg riders Peta Sandford and Ashley Vagg also rode strongly.

Ron Nelson was the victor in the Vets race, followed home by Linda Jeremy in second and Jim Ewart third, Ewart also clocking fastest time. Tom McLucas, Ray Myer and Peter Barnes also had good rides for the Bundy club.

In E Grade, Katrina Macdonald from Bundy had a good win ahead of Maryborough's Quintan Millar and Ashley Vagg from Bundaberg.
