Tankard/Baudry/Brade fastest but a tie for handicap honours

Another blustery Tuesday evening in Mildura kept the rider numbers down to 12. Only the die-hards had come out, chasing summer series points in the prize for Bikes & Trikes Time-Trial winners purse.

Four teams of three were "annointed" by the race starter in the following order:

1. Kevin Tankard, Chris Baudry & Ian Brade off scratch
2. Rob McNally, Peter Mulhearn & Ian Beruldsen off 1:30
3. Arthur Anderson, Harry Robbins & Peter Winton off 3:00
4. Les Jordan, Nathan Welsh & Dion Bassi-Anstee off 4:30

T3 surpassed T4 at the 13km mark. T2 rider Beruldsen had a puncture at the 12km mark.

Under the handicaps (not the start times) Team 3 tied with Team 4 for the honours
