Stage 13 - Saturday, July 19: Toulouse (Cité de l'Espace) - Plateau de Bonascre, 197.5 km
Climbs:
- Kilometre 168.5: Col de Pailheres (15.5 kilometres at 7.8 percent)
- Kilometre 197.5: Plateau du Bonsacre (9.1 kilometres at 7.2 percent)
Starting from Toulouse's City Of Space aerospace centre, Stage 13 traverses the verdant Ariege region, with a final destination of ski station Axe 3 Domaines, at the top of the Plateau du Bonsacres. The Tour de France 2003 arrives in the Pyrenees for three consecutive stages that may decide the Tour.
Last time the Tour arrived at Bonascre, Colombian Felix Cardenas took the stage win.
