Stage 2 - Monday July 8: Luxembourg - Saarbrücken (Germany), 181 km

A manic Monday sees the Tour de France leave Luxembourg at 12:35 and head east into Germany across slightly less hilly terrain. With four sprints including the final and two KOM's, Erik Zabel (Telekom) will try to bring it home for the German homeboys in this grim, grimy Saarland industrial city of 350,000.
