Saturday’s event was a Graded Teams’ Time Trial on the Seymour-Mangalore service road course of 49km,finishing at Burgess Signs in Emily Street. 18 riders participated,graded into four teams.
The “A” team of Carl Simmons,Ron Burgess,Brett Loney and Silas Fisher, was first to start and completed the course in 1hr 12 mins 33secs comfortably under their set time of 1hr 15mins.
However the “D” team led by John Burgess and supported by Rob Ekberg,Rhyce Melville,Wayne Flint and Daryl O”Keefe rode the course in 1hr 20mins 15secs beating their set time of 1hr 26mins by 5mins 07secs. for a great win.
Jeff Hibberd’s “B’’ team recorded 1hr 14mins 29secs and Kevin Bartlett’s “C” team recorded 1hr 19mins 17secs.
