2004 Grafton Inverell Classic winner Peter McDonald (Randwick Botany/FRF Couriers) joined David Tracey (St George) in a two-man breakaway in 36km A-Grade race at Heffron Park on Saturday 16 October 2004. McDonald won the race, while Josh Marden (Randwick Botany) won the bunch sprint for third.
