Organisers this year decided to reverse the race, giving riders the opportunity to test their fitness against strong head winds for the full 77km. Chris harbidge with a 35minute handicap deserves full credit only being caught in the last few Kilometres. Chris is 70 years old! The scatchies(2) had no hope of catching the main group of riders starting of at 15minutes. Lead by Maher throughout the race, this group steam rolled all in its way! Other riders to shine included Carole MacGreggor, Dave Clarke and Phil Blumm. Results, 77 km handicap1 Paul Maher 2 Paul Bubb 3 Mick Donavan 4 Carole MacGreggor
