Triton Homes/MSN had a five second lead first lap and then 25 seconds after the second lap but dropped a rider and lost too much time on the third lap. ICCC finished with all 4 riders, which made the difference. Cooler weather helped everyone go faster this year. Only the last DMOS team on the road got caught in the wind and sand from the front. They finished just minutes before the downpour.
