Loveday, South Australia, October 1, 2006

Riverland Cycling Club members participated in an open graded scratch race at the Loveday course on Sunday. All riders kept together at a steady pace for three laps before Craig Ward, Mick Gray, Bob Pankhurst and Marcus Whitting broke away mid-way through the forth and final lap. Ward, who is currently in top condition, blitzed his competition to record another win for the season. Gray held off Pankhurst for second place.

Next weekend, the club will be hosting BikeSA members as they tour the area. Two free social rides will leave the Redgum Cafe in Berri from 8:30am on Saturday morning. All interested cyclists are invited to take part in either a one or three hour ride. Visit www.riverlandcyclingclub.com for more information.
