First some news re Paul Crake: Canberra Cycling Club has decided to donate the proceeds from its annual 'Carts' Christmas Criterium race to aid Paul Crake and his family in his recovery.

Paul, a Canberra Cycling club member, suffered spinal injuries in a crash during the Tour of Southland in New Zealand. Racing will be on Wednesday 20 December from 5.30 pm at the Kingston Foreshore course. All competitive cyclists are invited to attend to both commemorate the life of Mark Carter and to raise some much needed funds for Paul.
