Armidale Cycling Club held A and B races on their criterium track at the Traffic Education Centre last Saturday. A grade raced for 35 minutes plus 3 laps at a fast pace and junior member Geoff Straub blitzed the field, crossing the line well in front of the main bunch. Colin Maciver sprinted to beat Bill Mara for second place with Bill having to be content with third.

After racing for 30 minutes plus 3 laps Dave Jenner won B grade ahead of Kath Kelly, with new member Andrew Swan third. Andrew joined the club just prior to the race and had never raced before, graduating from mountain bikes to road bikes recently.
