Tim Koopman made a dramatic comeback to cycling after a 6 year absence, easily taking first place ahead of Scott Noonan, the everfresh Nic Kidman for third, Mountainbiker Tom Burford 4th, Matthew Opperman for fifth & fastest time, James Sampson (From the Savings & Load Team), Robert Mann and Colin Angus for eighth position. If Tim is to keep the Leaders Yellow Jersey on his back next week he will have to fend off the scratchmen, who only finished within seconds of him on Wednesday. Next weeks race will be starting at the Bellum Hotel along Mt Salt rd. 25km handicap race. This year the club has hit an all time high participation rate and would like to remind people that the club also holds track racing on Friday evenings at the Velodrome (Blue Lake Sports Park), as well as the popular Duathlon Series held on Monday evenings at 6.30pm opposite West Gambier Football Club, and also plans on holding a time trial series in January/February.
