The series was raced on the Seymour-Glenaroua-Schoolhouse Hill course, finishing at Hilldene fire station. The Championship group of Carl Simmons, Ron Burgess, Alan Adams, Shane Edwards, Silas Fisher and Shayne Kirby raced a 62km course. Simmons attacked early but was unable to establish a break. In an exciting finish Shayne Kirby outsprinted the group to take the 2005 Club Champion title. Junior rider Silas Fisher rode a great tactical race to finish second, with Ron Burgess third. The minor championship divisions rode a 50km course. Division 2 came down to sprint finish with Andy Garrett just grabbing Wayne Klauss to take the title. Jeff Hibberd was third. Division 3 had two solid road riders not recognised as sprinters contesting the finish. John Burgess and Kevin Bartlett were too strong on the hills and established a winning break on their group. Bartlett outsprinted John Burgess to take the Division 3 title.Brett Loney was third. Division 4 came down to a two rider sprint between Travis Crawley and Don Gee. Gee took the sprint for this title with Crawley's ride being full of merit because of his hill climb attacks. Murray Thompson edged out Kevin Swan for third place.
