Deloraine, Tasmania, February 27, 2005

The Calvary Health Care Northern Vets held their weekly club race at Deloraine on Sunday. The Group Handicap, with sponsorship from the Deloraine Secondhand Shop, attracted 58 starters. Scott Evans and Andrew Flanagan continued with their great early season form to take out the major placings from new rider Nigel Davies. These riders and their co-markers put up a great ride to hold off the fast finishing A graders who were led in, in convincing style, by Peter Gleeson and Ian Leighton. On Sunday March 6th racing will start at the Longford Meatworks at 10 am. Riders are required to enter by 9 30am. Rostered Members are Frank Clark and Dean Cooley.
