Northern Veterans Cycling Club

Carrick, Tasmania, August 28, 2005

On Sunday at Carrick the Calvary Health Northern Veterans Cycling Club held a 50km group handicap race.The race which attracted over 40 starters was held in fine but windy conditions. Peter Fraser who started in D grade gave his more younger rivals a lesson in racing gained by many years of experience.Fraser made a winning break in the last few kilometres to score a very convincing win. Next week the club will be holding their major race of the year, the Calvary Health Longford - Campbell Town. The race starts at Longford at 11am.
