Time trial, October 31, 2004

Hans Batteard took advantage of the circumstances last Sunday to achive the fastest time over the 18.5 kilometre course.

Whether the underwhelming appeal of a time trial or the change to daylight saving caught-out many faster riders, the numbers were well below average. What does that tell us about the guns?

Although gusting from the west most of the faster riders produced times not far from their last times.

Most noticable on the day were Dave Morris, recovering some of speed from the past, and new rider 16 year-old Thomas Griffiths.

Next week's race is a 27 kilometre scratch race with group 1 as helpers.
