Janmaat wins Top End Tour warm-up

The prelude to the Top End Tour, a handicapped race from the famous Bark Hut Inn on the Arnhem Highway on the was to Kakadu back to the equally famous Humpty Doo Hotel. A welcome tail wind was forecast and it appeared mid-way through the race lifting speeds. Dave and Aaron rode a hard pace that Alistair Hartley, starting on scratch just couldn't make up the extra minute on his own. Adam Korab rode what must be his most impressive ride of the season to stay with Dave and Aaron until about 15km to go. Every said they where going to hold a little back for next weekend Top End Tour but once the excitement started it was all happening. A great day with Dave collecting the trophy and prize money.
