Results and Reports from AustraliaPromoters wishing to submit results should send them to Cyclingnews CATS CCNerang, June 15, 2003By Ros Burke Today the CATS returned to their home ground to host a race at Nerang. The feature of the day was the Mikes Bike Pointscore which saw A Grade using brains as well as brawn. The demanding race sent the riders over three different circuits each for 20 minutes with a sprint for points at each 20 minutes. The top 4 placegetters shared a prize pool of $250.00 thanks to Mikes Bikes who supplemented the otherwise meagre pickings! Another feature of the day was the CATS brand new Panasonic digital video camera purchased with a grant from the Gambling Community Benefit Fund. This piece of technology will make it a breeze to pick places in a tight finish and should put an end to much anguish and heartache after the final sprint.
