Results and Reports from AustraliaPromoters wishing to submit results should send them to Cyclingnews Mildura-Coomealla CCRed Cliffs Cemetery, Saturday July 26, 2003By Peter Winton 18 riders presented themselves for the weekend hitout. Several absentees due to other social and sporting commitments reduced our recent good numbers to a still respectable 18. Ian Brade and Rob McNally in Adelaide contesting the SA State Time Trial Titles in Masters divisions were the most notable absentees and both did well with Brade taking first place in his 35-39 group and McNally achieving 2nd in the 40-44 years. At the local scene in was Jack Lokan (6 min bunch) greeting the judge first in a time of 1:28:00 from Richard Hale (12 min), Dave Priest (6min), Barry Pollock (6min) and Adrian Lloyd (12min) in that order. Been a while since the finishing line has witnessed Mr Lokan crossing first and it's hoped his good fortune may rub off on some of his bunch mates soon. The sad tale is about the scratch bunch which crumbled at the start due to several of their bunch missing the start. This played into the hands of Arthur Anderson (2 min bunch) as he gets his name in the books as fastest time in 1:25:15. Peter Mulhearn the quickest from the scratchies in 1:26:33. This week is the Club's Championship race, an 80km scratch affair to be held at Riverside, starting 1:15pm. Results, 53 km handicap1 Jack Lokan 1.28.00 2 Dave Priest 3 Barry Pollock 4 Adrian Lloyd
