The race conducted by the St. Lukes Health Vets club and sponsored by Garwoods Bakery was on a tough circuit with a steep hill to be climbed three times. The race was almost handicap perfect with most bunches coming together inside the last kilometre. Launceston photographer Shane Goss proved the strongest with a well timed break close to the finish to score a good win. Peter Oliver continued his recent good form to take out fastest time.
