Stage 5 - January 20: Gawler - Tanunda, 156 km

Preview

The route for the penultimate stage of the Jacob's Creek Tour Down Under has been used in the previous two years. Starting in Gawler, the race heads into the Barossa Valley for a tour ofthe vineyards, including (of course) Jacob's Creek Wines. It then passes through the finising town of Tanunda, before heading up to Nuriootpa, Greenock, Seppeltsfield and back to Tanunda. A two lap winery tour follows this, incorporating Menglers Hill and a sprint at Angaston each lap. The stage finishes in Tanunda after a total of 156 kilometres.
