Six Days of Gent

Nick Rosenthal took his (new) camera along to Gent to capture some of the action from the final three nights of the 60th Zesdaagse Van Vlaanderen. Here's what he came back with.

Melbourne Cup on Wheels/Carnegie Caulfield Criteriums

Our regular Carnegie Caulfield CC correspondent, Mark Chadwick has recently acquired a digital camera, so look out! He was on hand to take some action pics from the Melbourne Cup on Wheels and Carnegie's "Morning After" criterium.

Knapps-Commerce Bank Cyclo-cross

A couple of pics were sent in of this race, held on November 19 in Hamilton, New Jersey. With a name like that, how could we resist?

US Cyclo-cross Supercup, Boston

The second round of the Supercup series saw wins to Mark McCormack and Anne Grande in Boston. Jonathan McElvery was on hand to capture the action.

New Mexico Cyclocross Series

Douglas Sheppard snapped the following major players in the New Mexico cyclocross series.

Doble Copacabana G.P. Fides

The highest bicycle race in the world is the Doble Copacabana in Bolivia, South America. Competitors typically race at altitudes of over 4000 metres. This year, as in previous years, a Colombian won the race.

US Cyclo-cross Supercup, Boulder

This US cyclo-cross series got underway with victories for Rachel Lloyd and reigning national champ Marc Gullickson . As these pics by Kim Morris and Rob Karman show, cross isn't always about mud, sleet and serious grubbiness.

Bert Geerts

Bert Geerts from the Netherlands is a regular contributor to cyclingnews, and is well known for his fine portrait shots and other action pictures from Dutch and Belgian races. He sent us these shots from the following Dutch races in August.

Ronde van Nederland

Cyclocross International de Dercy

Daniel Schamps was at this UCI category 2 cyclocross race, and by the looks of things, it was not a day to be underdressed.

World Track Championships

The World Track Championships ran for five days from October 25-29. Once again they were in Manchester this year, where track guru, Nick Rosenthal was on hand to capture some of the action. The following photos are from Nick and Agence France Presse.

Day 1, October 25

Day 2, October 26

Day 3, October 27

Day 4, October 28

Day 5, October 29

Japan Cup

The 1.3 Japan Cup is one of the major one day races in Japan, coming at the tail end of the road season. This year, it was held in wet, miserable conditions that saw only 28 finishers. Lampre were 1-2-3. The majority of the following pics were taken by Nagako Furusawa
